Currently the 6.x Elasticsearch is actually 6.6.1. Could you also support >=6.8.3? We found out that a Magento2 module for Elasticsearch doesn't fully work for ES versions under 6.8.3.
Perhaps supporting multiple 6.x versions at letting us specify the exact version would be great too.

We had a succesful user case Hypernode x Elasticsearch. While the ES was hosted at Bonsai. Setting up took about 10 minutes, including subcribing to a free subscription at bonsai.io.

Just subscribe at https://bonsai.io/ copy/paste the url in your magento-catalog-catalog search field, and you're all done!

Just like Sphinx Search a great enhancement for the Magento Search. As there are many datasources which can connect to Elasticsearch out of the box, Elasticsearch would be in favor now as it would be easier to provide a complete search function that returns data from multiple data sources (not only the webshop)

Would by great to have Elastic, especially Magento2 is moving from SOLR to Elastic search out of the box.
