custom DocumentRoot
I'd like to have a Document Root that points to /live/version/1.1./src/htdocs/(public) and be able to change it on my own.
Closing this item as using symlinks should suffice to create alternate locations.

I ended up using a symlink from /data/web/source-files-for-public/ to /data/web/public

it would be cool if I don't have to create symlinks if the settings are directly as I wished.
/data/web/public/public_html/
this way I'm able to add my .git in /data/web/public and add extra information too.
think about configuration settings stored in the repo. -
Thanks for your feedback! Would using symlinks help?
For example:mkdir -p live/version
mv public live/version/1.1
ln -sf live/version/1.1 public
