Multi Arch (ARM) Docker Support
Build the hypernode-docker images for multiple CPU architectures cfr: https://docs.docker.com/desktop/multi-arch/ in order to support Apple Silicon (ARM64).
The current x86_64 images are unusable on Apple Silicon computers; the nginx, mailhog and elasticsearch services crash either at launch or right after.
An extra benefit of having multi arch builds would that it probably opens up the possibility to also offer hosting on Amazon AWS Graviton.

MailHog inbox available via a URL.
Make MailHog inbox available via a URL or something simple so the customer don't have to have acces in SSH or have to log in SSH. Because most of the time the customer don't have any experience with SSH.
For example: MailHog inbox available via 'mailhog.client.hypernode.io' or ‘client.hypernode.io/mailhog’

Goaccess
GoAccess was designed to be a fast, terminal-based log analyzer. Its core idea is to quickly analyze and view web server statistics in real time without needing to use your browser (great if you want to do a quick analysis of your access log via SSH, or if you simply love working in the terminal).
Goaccess would do miracles and help our developers save time on analysing access.logs We really would like to have this complied to hypernodes.

ffmpeg
To convert GIF files to WebM and MP4, we'd like to see ffmpeg and ffprobe installed. Currently, we have to ship prepackaged ffmpeg binaries with our packages.

More focus on software upgrades
Seeing PHP 7.2 roll out was great, some other things feel very inactive though:
Redis
current version (3.0.6) was released end of 2015. Current versions is 5 and 4.x recently received important fixes via backports where 3 is not. Changelogs are pages long with bugfixes and missing out on new features.MySql
current version is 8.x with (good) structural changes and new features.
Percona also seems dated with hardly any talk about it besides their own blog (with benchmarking setups that raises questions).
Magerun2
What is the actual recommended way of upgrading this? As the app user lacks root/write access…1 vote -
Extended ACL support
By support extended ACLs it's much easier to perform finegrained access control to files on the Hypernode.

(S)FTP accounts with read-only permissions
Currently (S)FTP accounts have read/write access. It's often desired to grant read-only access to certain locations.

Parallels provider for Hypernode vagrant
The Business version of parallels for mac comes with a provider for vagrant. Several benchmarks posted online show that parallels outperforms virtualbox by a lot. I had some good experience with boxes that support both vbox and prl. I'm not sure if enough people use this software since it's paid, but I'm really positive about it and curious about the performance of hypernode-vagrant on the parallels provider.

ssh2
I would like to have the PHP SSH2 module installed (http://php.net/manual/en/book.ssh2.php) to make use of SSH connections instead of FTP.

melding krijgen bij X serverload
Is het mogelijk om een api aan te roepen waarbij je de serverload terugkrijgt van je hypernode? Zodoende kan je een systeem bouwen die een alert geeft als de load boven een bepaalde waarde komt.

Backupninja for historical backups
We have already discussed historical backups on a different idea, but I think it could be better.
Backupninja is a tool for backing up databases in a way that backups should be done. It allows the user to create backups in a frequency like monthly, weekly and daily.

A extension for n98-magerun that updates the stage database with the live data, and updates url keys
Would be nice to update the staging database with the live db in a single magerun command. So it dumps the live db, changes the urlkeys, and imports it into stage

to be able to show a running train by typing sl
I would like to see a train run by when I type 'sl', just as I can on the old Byte Platform.
21 votesThanks for the great suggestion! Unfortunately this is not allowed by the PCI compliancy.

Git LFS support (Large File Storage)
Git Large File Storage allows the storage of large binaries and resources together with your repository without actually tracking them. Typical 'large files' are SQL files, compressed files, binaries, design assets and large images.Separating these files from the standard repo keeps the repo fast and clean. Start supporting Git LFS as both Github and Bitbucket support it now.

webCEO for the Byte Magento platform
webCEO is a powerful SEO tool to provide keyword research, SEO audits, link quality control, site monitoring, internal link optimizing, competitor monitoring and social media analysis.
Therefore I think webCEO is very appreciated on the Magento platform. With webCEO, more visitors and more revenue!

Add support for CloudFlare Railgun
Hypernode is very flexible and powerful with Cloudflare, especially for security, however I'd like to use Railgun to improve the performance too.
