SSL available on *.hypernode.io to test
Why not add a wildcard certificate for *.hypernode.io to every Hypernode instance? This way we can test https functionality on the hypernode.io subdomain.
Maybe I'm overseeing some technical (or business) consequences, but I think this should be a relative simple thing to do.
12 votesYou can now do this using lets encrypt: https://support.hypernode.com/knowledgebase/use-lets-encrypt-hypernode/

Have Midnight Commander available
Some may call me crazy, but I like the clear and easy view it gives me on available files and directories.

Naked domain over SSL using CNAME
I have a problem where I can't reach https://mywebshop.nl but I can reach http://mywebshop.nl, http://www.mywebshop.nl and https://www.mywebshop.nl.

"Het naked domain gaat naar de wwwizer. Deze redirect simpelweg al het verkeer naar de www versie. Echter houd deze geen rekening met SSL. Als je toch SSL wilt gebruiken op het naked domain zul je dus deze in een keer naar het IP adres van de hypernode moeten sturen. Deze kan echter veranderen en een dergelijke constructie raden we dan ook niet aan."
18 votesIt is now possible to couple domainnames to your Hypernode and using our DNS servers.
We will manage the A records for you whenever the Hypernode IP changes. This way you can use direct SSL without www. since the A record will resolve straight to the correct hypernode IP.

Fixed! You can now flush your Hypernode caches through the Service Panel, by clicking a button in the Magento Monitor.

Separate Redis DB for my sessions
This has two advantages:
- Sessions aren't evicted when the cache is full (with FPC for example)
- I can flush without losing customer sessions.
0 votesYou can use multiple databases in redis with a max of 16.

SLA / SLA Plus with Hypernode
Is it possible to add SLA and SLA Plus to a Hypernode account? Now it's not possible for our clients to report a failure (or malfunctioning in the shop). And for Magento Pro packages an SLA is includes. We believe this would be a good add-on for hypernode
23 votesAn SLA is included on Hypernode Grow and Go Big. SLA Plus is not yet available on Hypernode. If you want this idea upvoted, please click: http://hypernode.uservoice.com/forums/242854-hypernode/suggestions/9110401-sla-plus-24-7-emergencysupport-on-hypernode.

Solr integration
I found out that you already installed Solr on the server, but could you guys give us feedback on how to integrate it on Magento CE? With the default settings and Solr extension from Jeroen Vermeulen I was unable to connect to the Solr settings.
25 votesYou can now start using SOLR on our Excellence plans!

Do not set a default MAGE_RUN_CODE for easier migration/deployment
We just deployed a site on the hypernode platform and noticed we got a 404 in the default Magento template on every url. Turns out we have a non-default store (view) code, meaning there was a mismatch between Byte's default "default" and our store code. This lead to Magento routing every request to a non-existing store, which leads to 404's.
I would propose that you don't set any MAGERUNCODE by default at all and let Magento decide to route the request to which store. Magento does not expect MAGERUNCODE to be set, except for the purpose…
5 votesFixed (a while ago) with release http://support.hypernode.com/changelog/release-410-properly-set-mage_run_type-and-mage_run_code/

More resources for hypernodes
The resources should be increased to provide a good alternative to dedicated servers. I can't sell a hypernode account with 2gb RAM if my client can get a server with 32gb RAM and ssd's for 30 euro's less.

Document FastCGI params set in /etc/nginx/phphandler.conf
Since it's not readable, at the very least I'd like to know the fastcgi_params passed, so I can determine when to include it. I'd also need to know the location blocks used. In fact, thinking about it, I don't know why it's not readable to the app user.
5 votesAll nginx and handler configuration is readable!

Secure publicly accessible MySQL port
Currently the MySQL server port is wordwide accessible. I'd rather have it's traffic firewalled but if that's not possible, at the very least an application that guards against brute-force password attacks, like sshguard or fail2ban.
Ideally, a publicly accessible protocol should enforce SSL/TLS.5 votesCompleted! You can manage your firewall whitelist through our service panel.
